Ultrasonic Scaling
Ultrasonic scaling is a popular technique for easily removing plaque while significantly reducing the treatment time necessary to properly clean patients’ teeth. This all-inclusive, one-day ultrasonic scaling course teaches students the techniques and methods used for effectively removing cement from orthodontically banded teeth.
During this course, you will participate in four hours of lecture, two hours of lab work, and two hours of clinical work. By participating in hands-on work, you will be able to better understand how an ultrasonic scaler works, and how you can effectively use ultrasonic scaling in a dental practice.
