Dental Assistant 10 Week Program
After completing the 10 week dental assisting program you will be capable of preparing patients for treatment, assisting the dentist during procedures, charting, taking x-rays, sterilizing instruments, providing oral hygiene instructions, preparing dental filling materials, taking impressions and much more. Coronal Polishing Certification
Pre-requisite: Students shall posses a valid registered dental assistant license or be in the process of obtaining their registered licensure, which requires passing a written and practical course in Radiology, Coronal polishing, and the state exam for registered Dental assistance. Pit and Fissure Sealant Certification
This is a two-day course:
Day 1 = Lecture, Lab, 1st Patient / 8 Sealants
Day 2 = Written exam, Patient exam - 8 Sealants
California State Radiology Certification
This is a two-day course.
Day 1 = Lecture & manikin
Day 2 = Written exam, FMX on a patient
The course will begin with didactic instruction in a classroom setting.
The entire day will be spent discussing the "Course Curriculum" and "Supplemental Techniques."
California State Radiology Certification
Infection Control Course - 8 Hours
The 8 hour Infection Control course is divided into two modules, 4 hours of Didactic and 4 hours of Clinical. This is a 1 day course.
